Why Huntington Properties
Huntington Properties is a full-service commercial real estate and property management company. We partner with our clients to find a workplace that will help them move their business forward, and we take care of the rest. Our services include property acquisition, design and construction on renovations and fit-ups, and day-to- day operations.
Alan Whitten started Huntington Properties in 1996 with a single building in Kanata south. Today, we are three owners that manage 1.2 million square feet of commercial property across the National Capital Region. Our portfolio includes a range of industrial, office, and retail space, which we continue to build as we take advantage of investment and development opportunities.Vimeo
Our exceptional team is armed with more than 50 years of combined commercial and industrial real estate expertise. This depth of experience and a strategic focus on the National Capital market allows us to identify outstanding investment opportunities. We regularly establish joint ventures and partnerships with investors interested in acquiring and developing commercial properties in the Ottawa area. Our goal is to deliver long term returns through cash distributions and capital appreciation with projects that include major retrofits, vacant land developments, and building upgrades.
Our ownership entities generally buy and hold to create a stable stream of returns and includes acquisitions combined with leaseback of premises to operating companies.
"I have been investing with Huntington Properties for 20 years in many of their projects in Ottawa. I am always impressed with the care they take with due diligence and the quarterly and annual reporting on each project. They have enough scale in town now with so many buildings that finding tenants for vacant space is much easier as they can move tenants from one building to another as they grow or contract. Huntington Properties offer a very safe way to invest in a variety of high quality commercial buildings in Ottawa, and the returns over the years have been very good."
